American Heroes Park to Temporarily Close to the Public in Preparation for the Bellevue Rocks Riverfront Festival

The City of Bellevue has announced that American Heroes Park will temporarily close to the public starting at 8:00am on Monday, June 5th through 4:00pm on Thursday, June 8th. This closure will allow Bellevue Community Foundation and City of Bellevue crews an opportunity to set up for this weekend’s Bellevue Rocks! Celebration which will be held at the Park. American Heroes Park is located on the banks of the Missouri River, just north of the Bellevue Bridge off of Mission Avenue.

On Friday, June 9th and Saturday, June 10th, American Heroes Park will also be closed to the public until the gates open for the Bellevue Rocks! event at 4pm. Additionally, American Heroes Park will remain closed on Sunday, June 11th except for the hours of Noon to 5pm for the last day of the festival and on Monday, June 12th for cleanup of the event. The goal is to have American Heroes Park back open to the public by 9:00am on June 13th.

The Bellevue Police Department will be monitoring the entrance to this park during these times and barricades will be in place. Only those individuals and vehicles assisting with the setup of the event will be allowed access through a checkpoint at the entrance.

The City of Bellevue and the Bellevue Community Foundation appreciate your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you this weekend!
