The City of Bellevue and the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) invite the public to attend an open house for the Fort Crook Road Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) Study on Thursday, November 13, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Bellevue Volunteer Firefighter Hall, 2108 Franklin Street, Bellevue, NE 68005.
The study is reviewing options for repairing or replacing the two Fort Crook Road bridges that cross Papillion Creek and the Union Pacific Railroad. The goal is to identify practical and cost-effective bridge solutions that maintain safe and reliable travel for people who live and work in the Bellevue area and those who access Offutt Air Force Base.
During the open house, attendees can view display boards, speak with members of the project team, and share feedback on bridge needs and community priorities. A brief presentation will begin shortly after 5:00 p.m., followed by an opportunity to visit with City and consultant staff, who will be available at the displays to discuss the study and answer questions.
Public input will help the City of Bellevue and NDOT evaluate bridge improvement options and plan for future transportation needs along Fort Crook Road.
