City of Bellevue Seeking Applicants for Interim City Administrator Position

The City of Bellevue, Nebraska is seeking experienced and progressive candidates to serve as an interim City Administrator. The City of Bellevue has a total budget of $75 million with approximately 380 full and part time employees. The successful candidate will be appointed by Mayor Rita Sanders for City Council approval to serve at minimum the remainder of her term.

 

Candidates will be expected to have a strong management and supervisory background in municipal operations, particularly economic development, redevelopment and financial management; with a minimum of (7) years of increasingly responsible executive experience in a community or organization of comparable size and complexity. Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Political Science or related field.  Master’s degree (MPA) or other advanced degree, credentialed manager strongly desired.  Candidates must possess excellent interpersonal skills, an approachable, welcoming style with the community and staff, proven record in effective service delivery and creative problem solving.
