City Attempting to Contact Former Paradise Lakes Property Owners in Order to Secure FEMA Demolition Funding

The City of Bellevue is working with FEMA to secure funding for the demolition of buildings and structures contained within Paradise Park. In order to proceed with FEMA and to proceed with demolition and debris removal, FEMA requires that all property owners sign certain forms regarding indemnification, right of entry, and duplication of benefits. This form is required for all owners of property, not renters who were renting homes in Paradise Park.

In order to fulfill the due diligence of this process, the City of Bellevue’s Legal Department is mailing a letter and the required form to all property owners by February 6, 2020 at the last known addresses they have on file. If you receive the notice and form, please review and if you wish to sign, please do so and return the same back to the legal department by February 19, 2020. If you have moved or would rather come into the city offices to review and sign the form, please stop by the legal department’s office at 1500 Wall Street, Bellevue, Nebraska (2nd Floor of the Administration Building) to meet with a member of the legal department to review and sign any forms by February 19, 2020. The form is also available on the Quick Links portion of the City’s website at www.bellevue.net .  If you have any questions about this process, please direct them to the City’s Legal Department at 402-682-6157.
