The Bellevue Public Works Department has announced that 36th Street between Edgerton Drive and Brook Drive will be closed to traffic on Wednesday, July 30, 2025. Local traffic will be able to access the Twin Creek shopping area via 36th Street from the south. Thru traffic must utilize an alternate route. A detour route will be marked as shown on the graphic.
This temporary closure is needed to allow a contractor to place an asphalt overlay on the approaches to the bridge over West Papillion Creek.
