Bellevue Public Library Director Julie Dinville has announced that the Library will be closing at 5:00pm today (Tuesday, January 22nd) due to the forecasted winter weather conditions. The Library will reopen with normal hours of 9:00am to 9:00pm on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. For more information on the Bellevue Library, including all of the activities that are available, please go to www.bellevuelibrary.org
Additionally, the City's trash contactor Papillion Sanitation's posted the following on its website regarding trash pickup for the rest of the day:
"Due to the weather conditions on Tuesday, Jan 22nd, we had to pull some of our trucks off the road early. We were able to get most of our routes completed; however, we were not able to get to some areas due to icy road conditions. Please leave your trash and recycling out, as we will ensure we get you serviced by the end of the week. Most routes will be running on-time, but we might have a few areas we need to service later than normal. Thank you for your understanding as safety for the public and our drivers is our number one priority."
