Bellevue Library to Host Public Open House in Honor of Children's Librarian Alice Boeckman's Retirement
The Bellevue Library will be hosting a public an open house on Monday, August 15th from 3:00pm to 6:00pm in honor of Alice Boeckman who is retiring next week. Alice has passionately served as Bellevue's Children's Librarian for the past 12 years and previously worked at the Library as the Assistant Children's Librarian and as a shelver.
Alice has been very dedicated to her job and will leave a lasting impact on the children of the Bellevue Community. The public is encouraged to stop by the Library and visit with "Mrs. B." to share memories, wish her well, and to just say "hi." There will be refreshments but please no gifts. Thank you Alice for all that you have done and best wishes on your next adventures!!
