Bellevue Library Celebrating 90 Years with Open House on Monday, October 14th

October 14th is also Last Day to Participate in Husker Fan-Tastic Fall Fundraiser

Join the Bellevue Public Library in celebrating its 90th anniversary at an open house on Monday, Oct. 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Come visit with library staff and Friends members and enjoy cake and other refreshments. Enjoy a music performance by Celtic Boulevard at 12 noon. At 6:30 p.m. join the Friends of the Bellevue Public Library as they celebrate their 10th anniversary with Darrel Draper performing as "Teddy Roosevelt: Rough Rider President." This free presentation is sponsored by Humanities Nebraska and the Friends of the Bellevue Public Library. Cookies and other refreshments will be served.

Monday, October 14th is also the last chance to particiapate in the Library's Husker Fan-tastic Fall Fund-raiser featuring Nebraska Cornhusker themed items. The grand prize winner will receive a $50 gift card to La Paz Mexican restaurant; 2 tickets to the Oct. 26th Cornhusker football game; a Husker football; a Nebraska stocking cap (adult); Kanjam Sports Gliders (game); Nebraska dominos; 2 Nebraska tumblers; 2 Nebraska bottle cozies; a Nebraska Frisbee; 2 pair of Nebraska socks (red and white); a red bag (18x8); a 16-can cooler tote; a Nebraska bottle opener keychain; a Nebraska bottle opener magnet; a Nebraska corn hat; a Nebraska scarf; a jumbo plush bear; a tabletop toss game; and 2 Huskers folding chairs. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each or six for $5.00. The winner will be drawn/announced at the end of the Friends annual meeting on Oct. 14th. All proceeds go to the nonprofit Friends group to support activities and services at the library.
