Bellevue City Administrator Dan Berlowitz Recognized as the Outstanding Public Administrator of the Year by the Nebraska Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration

Congratulations to Bellevue City Administrator Dan Berlowitz for being recognized as the Outstanding Public Administrator of the Year by the Nebraska Chapter of the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA). This award was presented this afternoon at the 2016 Annual Awards Luncheon at the Thompson Alumni Center at UNO. Bellevue Mayor Rita Sanders and other members of the City's Administrative team joined Dan's wife Ronda and other family members at the luncheon to help celebrate this distinguished honor.

The American Society for Public Administration is the largest and most prominent professional association for public administration in the nation. The organization operates on a belief in four core values which are Accountability and Performance, Professionalism, Ethics and Social Equity.

Mr. Berlowitz took time during his acceptance remarks to thank all of the members of the Nebraska Chapter of the ASPA for their efforts in promoting excellence in public service and for the networking opportunities they provide for Nebraskans in public and nonprofit organizations.
