Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Survey Seeks Input from City of Bellevue Residents

The City of Bellevue is working with other agencies throughout the metro area to complete the Affirmatively Further Fair Housing (AFFH) plan, which is a requirement of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The City is encouraging resident involvement in the public discussion which includes a survey to help obtain input and identify current conditions in our community.  The survey is available at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AFFH2017

The AFFH seeks to analyze both affordable housing stock and the factors that affect housing most, such as education, employment and transportation and identify barriers to fair housing. This survey is being used to help determine conditions present in the community. Your input is greatly needed! The more input gathered the more accurate the plan will be. Please feel free to share and distribute this survey with friends and family who reside or work in the metro area.

More information regarding this survey can be found in the attachments to this article,If you have any questions regarding the survey, please contact the City of Bellevue at (402) 293-3000 or abby.highland@outlook.com, or the Bellevue Housing Authority at (402) 734-5448 or director@bellevuehousing.com.
