Memorial Day is a U.S. Federal Holiday observed on the last Monday of May to honor the men and women who have died while serving in the military. This is especially important in the Bellevue/Offutt Community as we take some time this weekend to honor and remember those Americans who died defending our freedom.
The City of Bellevue is co-hosting the annual Memorial Day Ceremony this year at the Bellevue Cemetery with members of the former VFW Post 10785. The Ceremony will start at 11am at the Bellevue Cemetery which is located at 13th Ave & Franklin St. and will be highlighted by a medley of patriotic music by the Sarpy Serenaders along with many of the honorable Memorial Day Ceremony traditions.
