American Heroes Park to Temporarily Close to the Public for Riverfest Preparations

Park to Close at 6AM on Wednesday, August 14th until Riverfest begins at 5PM on Friday, August 16th

The City of Bellevue has announced that American Heroes Park will temporarily close to the public starting at 6:00am on Wednesday, August 14th through 5:00pm on Friday, August, 16th. This closure will allow Bellevue Chamber of Commerce and City of Bellevue crews an opportunity to set up for this weekend’s Riverfest Celebration which will be held at the Park. American Heroes Park is located on the banks of the Missouri River, just north of the Bellevue Bridge off of Mission Avenue.

The Bellevue Police Department will be monitoring the entrance to this park during these times and barricades will be in place. Only those individuals and vehicles assisting with the set up of the event will be allowed access through a checkpoint at the entrance.

The City of Bellevue and the Bellevue Chamber of Commerce appreciate your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you at Riverfest 2019 this weekend!
