The Bellevue Public Works Department has announced that Franklin Street between 19th Ave and 20th Ave will be closed to traffic beginning Monday, August 3, 2020. The closure is expected to last for approximately two weeks. During the closure, traffic will be detoured to Hancock Street. Access for local residents along the west side of Franklin Street within this block will be available from the north (19th Avenue).
This closure is needed to complete storm sewer repairs being done as part of the improvements to Washington Park.
