Haworth Park Tree Debris Temporary Dump Site to Remain Open through Sunday, July 2, 2017

City crews have completed several sweeps to remove tree debris from the curb and are continuing street sweeping throughout the community. The tree debris drop off site at Haworth Park, north of the softball fields, will remain open through Sunday, July 2, 2017 from 8am – 8pm.  The temporary site at Haworth Park is only for tree related debris.  The Haworth Park site does not accept construction or demolition debris, appliances, liquids, tires, hazardous waste or anything that can be left curbside for normal scheduled pick up.

The container in the Two Springs neighborhood located at the Two Springs Elementary School parking lot, 3001 Spring Boulevard, will remain available for area clean up until Sunday, July 2, 2017.  The Two Springs container will accept bulk items and construction and demolition debris related to the storm.  No appliances, liquids, tires, hazardous waste or tree debris will be accepted at this site.

The City will begin grinding the tree debris at the Cedar Island site as soon as a contract has been awarded.  Once grinding is complete at Cedar Island, grinding will begin at Haworth Park.

The Old Landfill at Cedar Island Road will remain closed to the public but will reopen for tree drop off on Saturday, July 29th, 2017.
