While working under the direction of the City Administrator and in accordance with the Bellevue Municipal Code, I assist in the direction, administration and coordination of the daily operations of the City government.

In accordance with professional and administrative standards, municipal ordinances and general policy established by the City Administrator and City Council, I assist with directing and controlling the overall operations of the City to assure optimum services to the community. Including direct oversight of departmental activities or staff when appropriate.

I am also responsible for assisting the City Administrator with various administrative tasks through supervision, coordination and direction of these duties and acting as the City Administrator in the City Administrator’s absence.

The Assistant City Administrator position provides a flexible resource in the professional support of the City Administrator for a wide range programs and special projects as well as community and economic development activities. The prescribed work assignments and focus may change significantly based on the City Administrator’s determination of priorities.
