The City of Bellevue will kick off the 2018 swimming season with a special "Summer Splash Sneak Peek" on Friday, May 25, 2018. The Citizens of Bellevue are invited to join Mayor Rita Sanders and other City Officials for a Grand Opening Ceremony and Free Preview of the new splash pad and renovated pools that will be open for the summer of 2018.
The Grand Opening Ceremony's will take place on Friday, May 25th at the following times and locations:
- 11:30AM Everett Park Splash Pad (Off of Betz Road)
- 1:00PM Gilbert Pool (29th & Jackson) Pool will be open to the public for a free preview after a brief ceremony until 4pm
- 2:00PM Cascio Pool (1500 Lawrence Lane) Pool will be open to the public for a free preview after a brief ceremony until 5pm
Summer treats will also be provided and lifeguards will be on duty at Gilbert and Cascio Pool.
After the Grand Opening Ceremony at Everett Park, the City's two splash pads (Everett Park and Banner Park) will remain open for the summer season. Gilbert and Cascio Pools will reopen with the other City Pools for the season on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. The regular hours for all City Pools is Monday through Saturday from Noon - 6:45pm and on Sundays from Noon - 5:45pm.
