Who can sell fireworks in City limits?

  1. The sale of acceptable retail fireworks is permitted in the City of Bellevue after first obtaining a license from the City Clerk. Licenses may only be obtained by no more than twenty (20) not-for-profit, charitable, community or civic benevolent organizations which operate on a not-for-profit and benevolent basis within the City and meet the criteria set forth in City Code:
  2. Applications for fireworks licenses are accepted by the City Clerk between April 1st and April 30th of each year, and fireworks may be sold only between 8 a.m. until 11:00 pm, June 25th through July 4th.
  3. The fireworks license fee is $500. In addition, a $1000.00 cash bond is required which shall be refunded if all criteria set forth in City Code are met.
