What are the restrictions on noise within City limits?

It is unlawful for any person to make any loud, unnecessary or unusual noise which either annoys, disturbs, injures or endangers the comfort, repose, health, peace or safety of others within the city. Included, but not limited to: radios, phonographs; yelling, shouting, animals, birds, exhausts, defective vehicles, building construction and repair, drums, pile drivers, hammers, and blowers. Building construction noise is permitted from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Other noises, such as radios, etc. that do not disturb the peace of others are permitted from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
