Bands scheduled to perform tonight are Trixie and the Nooners, Ditchin Kathy, R Style and Landslide. The Balloon Glow is new this year and will start at 9:00pm and if you get a little warm there is a free 60 foot water slide to cool you off so bring your swimsuit. All this and much more for just $1.00. Come down to the Riverfront this weekend!

Disappointed if this is all they have there to draw me & my family to Bellevue on a 100 degree day. Why no mention of the barbecue competition & food offered (& perhaps other unmentioned attractions/activities) shown on a local Saturday news show yhis morning that pointed me to this website in the first place.

Truly underwhelming! First, Mayor Rita Sanders and the Chamber of Commerce should be ashamed for allowing a City Council candidate to sponsor the entrance tent. Were other candidates allowed equal access or is this the council's way of saying they endorse Bill Richards? Quite inappropriate. Once inside it became quickly evident that there was a paucity of booths with items of interest and very few choices in eating venues. Aside from the music, which was pleasant, the event appeared to be a showcase for local businesses to sponsor, show, and sell their wares. We came, saw little, and quickly left. Very disappointed and will not return again.
