Author: phil.davidson/Wednesday, July 11, 2012/Categories: Announcements

Construction of the new Walmart Market which is being built behind the Kwik Shop on Capehart Road has begun and is progressing nicely. Walmart Market according to Wikipedia is a chain of grocery stores launched by Walmart in 1998 that range around 40,000 square feet These stores are designed to be the opposite of vastly larger superstores. These smaller stores are meant to "woo shoppers with easier parking, less crowded aisles and quicker checkout." Walmart Market stores offer a variety of products including a full line of groceries and generally employ between 80 and 100 individuals.

The plans for the Capehart location which have been submitted to the City of Bellevue are a 42,719 Sq foot building which will also have a drive thru pharmacy, bakery and deli. The projected opening for this location is early 2013.

I heard that this store is hiring part-time. I'm 17 years old and go to Bellevue East High School. I was wondering if/how I can apply because I don't see this store on walmart.com.
