A Town Hall Meeting has been scheduled to present information on ballot issues "Proposition Number 1" (increase sales tax by one half cent), and "Proposition Number 2" (Economic Development Program). The meeting will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012 at 7:00pm on the campus of Bellevue University at the Criss Auditorium which is located inside the Hitchcock Humanities Center. State Senator Abbie Cornett will explain legislative bills 357 and 840 on which the Propositions are based. Toby Churchhill, who serves as the Executive Director of the Sarpy County Economic Development Corporation, will address recent opportunities for growth that were lost as well as the lack of local economic development tools as part of the informational meeting.
