First Fall Cleanup Date is this Saturday

Fall Cleanup will take place from 7am to 3pm on Saturday October 13th and 20th

The City of Bellevue’s annual fall clean up will be held on consecutive Saturdays October 13th and 20th . Two Street Department areas located at 29th & Hancock and 8252 Cedar Island Road, will be open will be open from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the 13th & 20th of October for the residents to drop off the following items:

Household furniture (including televisions)

Lawn furniture

Storm doors & windows

Major appliances (including televisions)

Broken toys, bicycles, wagons, etc.

Bed springs & mattresses

Construction material

Automotive parts

Propane Tanks

Electronics – including computer hardware

The Old Landfill, on Cedar Island Road at Rose Lane will be open on October 13th & 20th from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM to accept trees and brush. The city requires all trees and brush to be hauled directly to the Old Landfill area for disposal.

The following items will not be accepted at the shops:

Tires Boats Campers

Trees and brush

Leaves and yard wastes (special pickup weekly)

Automotive oil (can be recycled on regular garbage day)

Paint & Hazardous wastes - Regional household hazardous waste collection facility will take these items. Call 444-SINK (444-7465) or check on line at www.underthesink.org.

Citizens will be directed to unload solid waste directly into a Papillion Sanitation compactor truck or near a roll off container.
