Overview
Gary Troutman has been Bellevue City Administrator since June 2003 after serving as City Personnel Director in 2002. Before joining the City of Bellevue, Gary owned a human resource consulting firm for seventeen years. The firm specialized in labor relations and worked with public agencies throughout Nebraska.
Prior to his consulting business, Gary was employed by the City of Omaha for fifteen years. He started in the personnel department and advanced to the position of Personnel Director and Chief Labor Negotiator. His last three years were spent in labor relations and special assignment's in the Mayor's office.
Gary is a graduate of Bellevue College and was a member of the Bellevue College baseball team where he pitched in the college's first baseball game.
Gary is married, has four children and spends his spare time working with his 1953 Chalmers WD antique farm tractor. Gary also enjoys golf.
